I Felt Like I Was Drowning
“I am a strong, confident woman.”
Pathways helped me to deal with things from my past that were affecting my everyday life and it also helped give me tools that taught me to live with heart and integrity. I am a mother of 3 children, a wife, and caregiver of a wounded soldier who suffers from PTSD / TBI and so I have a unique set of circumstances at home.
I was to the point of not being able to deal with my life in large part because his injuries changed our lives. I felt like I was drowning.
I did a lot of hard work on myself while going through this program and I feel that it was one of THE most important things I have ever done. I have confidence and trust in myself that didn’t have before.
I walk through my life now with strength and confidence. I truly believe we have to take care of ourselves in order to take care of others. For me to go through Pathways I feel was an amazing gift that I gave to myself, my husband and my children. I would say to caregivers especially…This can without a doubt change your life. There is hope…your life can be amazing!
Pathways is a unique program with people who love and care for you and are committed to helping you learn how to live your best life.
To those who have donated to the Military Family Fund, I am forever grateful to you and all those who so unselfishly give to help others. The need is so great and it’s so encouraging to see that there are people who get that and care. It means more to us that you know.” God Bless you all!
